The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is seeking a professional Town Planner to manage the rezoning of a portion of the farm Vlakfontein 453 JR. The land is currently zoned as Undetermined and must be rezoned for use as a cemetery. Key tasks include drafting legal documentation, conducting geotechnical investigations, preparing site plans, and applying for environmental exemptions under the National Environmental Management Act. The project will be based in the City of Tshwane and is expected to be completed within 12 months. Deliverables include a project inception report, monthly progress updates, site plans, technical reports, and the final rezoning approval letter.

Full requirements
- Team Leader must hold valid SACPLAN professional registration.
- Team Leader must have 5 years post-registration experience.
- Must provide three recent appointment letters and completion certificates from City of Tshwane.
- Key personnel must include Environmental Practitioner, Geotechnical Specialist, and Land Surveyor.
- All key personnel must have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
