Description

The National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC) invites proposals for the appointment of internal auditors for a 36-month period. Based in Sandton, the successful service provider will perform internal audit activities, including risk-based strategic planning, annual financial statement reviews, and combined assurance reporting. The scope includes approximately 16,000 total hours over three years, covering audit reviews, forensic investigations, and irregular expenditure determinations. Bidders must provide key personnel with specific professional certifications and experience in financial services or state-owned entities. A 10% subcontracting requirement to a small, black-owned firm is mandatory. The project aims to ensure compliance with the PFMA and the NHFC Internal Audit Charter.
