The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is seeking an independent Diamond Valuator Expert to assess the integrity of diamond valuation services. The expert will review valuation reports, analyze grading methodologies, and identify potential irregularities or misconduct in diamond valuation processes. Key tasks include comparing current and previous valuation results, checking compliance with industry standards, and providing expert opinions for potential legal or disciplinary proceedings. The work involves reviewing diamond beneficiation processes and verifying chain of custody procedures. The successful candidate may be required to testify as an expert witness in court. The project must be completed within the scope of the provided requirements, and the expert must possess at least ten years of industry experience. The closing date for this request is 10 July 2026.
