Description

The eThekwini Municipality is inviting bids for a 36-month rates-based contract (Contract No: 35896-1M) for the maintenance and repair of roads and stormwater infrastructure in the West Central Region. The scope includes pothole patching, sidewalk repairs, cleaning of stormwater pipes and catch pits, vegetation control, and the repair of guardrails, fencing, and retaining structures. The municipality intends to appoint two regional contractors to perform work on an as-and-when-required basis. Key deliverables include the provision of plant, labor, and materials, as well as the appointment of a Community Liaison Officer and the submission of a site-specific Health and Safety file.
