The CSIR seeks a panel of service providers to manufacture digital IoT monitoring devices on an as-and-when-required basis over three years. The scope includes sourcing components, assembly, quality control, testing, and packaging for indoor environmental monitoring across 3,000 facilities. Development of Capture the Flag Challenges for SANReN.
The CSIR invites bids for the development and supply of 64 Capture the Flag challenges for the SANReN Cyber Security Challenge 2026/27. The project includes creating custom ethical hacking challenges for the 2026 Final and 2027 Qualification rounds, compatible with the CTFd platform. Deliverables include solutions, Docker images, and technical support. Remote support is required for the qualification round and in-person support for the final event. All challenges must be original. The final event is in November 2026, with the qualification event throughout 2027.
Inspection and Maintenance of Lifting Equipment at CSIR.
The CSIR seeks bids for a five-year contract to inspect, maintain, load test, and repair lifting equipment and tackles at various campuses. Responsibilities include routine inspections, annual load testing, fault repairs, and supplying new equipment. Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and SANS standards is required.
Provision of 10Gbps Bandwidth Services for Eastern Cape
This RFP is for the provision of multiple 10Gbps managed bandwidth services to refresh Eastern Cape rural links for the CSIR. The service must meet the requirements in Annexure B and B1. Questions can be submitted until March 2, 2026, with final submissions due by March 11, 2026.
