Construction of concrete slab and trench line at Science Centre.
The National Research Foundation (NRF-SAASTA) seeks a service provider with a valid CIDB Grade 1 CE or higher to construct a steel-reinforced concrete slab and a 65-meter trench line at the Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu Science Centre in Cofimvaba. The project includes excavation, compacted gravel installation, timber formwork, steel reinforcement, and casting 25 MPa concrete. A 32 mm conduit pipe with a draw wire must be installed, and the site restored through backfilling. Work starts in October 2026, with a compulsory site visit on 16 September 2026. Bids are due by 25 September 2026.
