Construction & Engineering Nkandla Disaster Management Centre and Fire Station Construction The project involves constructing a new disaster management and fire services facility in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, issued by the Nkandla Local Municipality and the KZN Department of Public Works and Infrastructure. It includes civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical works, such as bulk earthworks, multiple building blocks, a guard house, a generator room, and a fire station bay. Structural works involve reinforced concrete raft foundations, retaining walls, and steel roof structures. Electrical and mechanical deliverables include solar PV systems, HVAC, fire detection, and PA systems. The project adheres to J2 occupancy standards and SANS and ECSA regulations.
