SASSETA is seeking a service provider to manage its bursary program on a national scale. The work involves handling the entire bursary lifecycle, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and enrolling learners at public and private higher education institutions. The provider will also manage financial disbursements for tuition, learning materials, and accommodation, while monitoring learner performance and providing career guidance. The contract runs from the appointment date until 31 March 2030, with a potential five-year extension. The service provider must deliver quarterly reports on learner progress and financial spending. The work will be performed across South Africa, and the project requires a highly experienced team leader to oversee operations. All proposals must be submitted by 16 October 2026.

- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Three reference letters for bursary management, one exceeding R50 million
- Team Leader must hold an NQF level 7 qualification in Project Management
