The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) has issued a tender for the service and maintenance of passenger and goods lifts. This project will take place at the Necsa site in Pelindaba, North West Province. The contract is for a duration of 36 months. The scope of work includes regular servicing and maintenance of all identified lift equipment. Bidders must ensure their pricing covers all labour, overheads, tools, and protective equipment. As the site is a National Key Point, strict security and access protocols apply, including requirements for foreign citizens to submit passport details four weeks in advance. The tender follows an 80/20 or 90/10 preference point system depending on the final value. Bidders must attend a compulsory site briefing on 02 July 2026 and submit their proposals by 22 July 2026.

- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
