Description

The South African Environmental Observation Network (SAEON) is seeking a service provider to conduct basic snake handling, identification, and bite treatment training. This training is for eight staff members and will cover topics such as snake behavior, bite prevention, and first aid for snake, spider, and scorpion encounters. The training must be delivered in English and can take place at the provider's premises in Hoedspruit or on-site at the WITS Rural Facility in Mpumalanga. The service provider must supply all training materials and issue certificates of completion to the attendees. This is a once-off project, and the closing date for submissions is 11 September 2026.
