The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) invites bids for production process-flow auditing and compliance training. The project supports the Agro-processing Market Compliance Program across the Harry Gwala, Ugu, uMzinyathi, Zululand, and uMkhanyakude districts. The service provider will assess production flows, conduct gap analyses, and train 10 agro-processing MSMEs on food safety standards like HACCP, ISO 9001, and Global G.A.P. The project duration is three months, concluding with detailed assessment and close-out reports. A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 25 September 2026 in Pietermaritzburg.
