The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) is seeking a service provider to act as a Labour Relations Retainer for 24 months. The successful bidder will provide legal and advisory support, draft employment policies, manage disciplinary hearings, and represent the Commission at the CCMA and Labour Courts. Work will be coordinated from the Johannesburg head office but will cover all eight provincial offices. Key deliverables include reviewing labour policies, training staff on grievance procedures, and providing expert guidance on restructuring and performance management. The project duration is two years from the date of contract signing.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Professional indemnity insurance coverage
- Team leader must hold NQF level 6 or higher qualification
