Description

The Independent Development Trust (IDT) is seeking a qualified electrical contractor for its National Office. The project involves providing comprehensive electrical operation, maintenance, and repair services for a 6000 square meter facility over a three-year period. Key deliverables include systematic preventative maintenance, technical repairs to power supplies, distribution boards, and backup generators, as well as new installations and safety testing. The service provider must ensure rapid response times for all maintenance calls, ranging from 2 to 12 hours. The work covers a facility with 94 offices, 144 air-conditioning units, and various electrical infrastructure components. This is an 'as and when needed' contract, with pricing based on hourly labor rates and material handling percentages.
