The City of Cape Town is seeking a service provider for a 36-month term tender to perform lawn mowing and maintenance services. Services are required on an ad-hoc basis across the city. Contractors must ensure all vegetative waste is disposed of at registered sites. The project requires bidders to demonstrate experience in large-scale commercial mowing projects of at least 50,000 square meters. The contract will be awarded on a winner-takes-all basis per area, with pricing fixed per square meter and subject to annual CPI adjustments.

- Public Liability and Motor Vehicle Liability insurance (minimum R20 million)

- Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Audited financial statements for past 3 years (if value exceeds R10 million)
- Proof of commercial mowing experience via previous contracts or invoices
