Description
The City of Cape Town is seeking a service provider to deliver specialized electrical skills training over a 36-month period. The training covers technical areas such as arc welding, high voltage cable jointing, solar PV installation, and electrical safety procedures. The provider must also offer coaching, mentoring, and assessment services. Key deliverables include the provision of training venues, learning materials, practical workshop demonstrations, and the issuance of competency certificates. The service provider is responsible for submitting course reports, attendance registers, and portfolios of evidence within two weeks of completing each training session. This contract aims to enhance the skills of personnel working in electrical environments through professional facilitation and moderation.
Requirements
- Registered on CCT Supplier Database and National Treasury CSD
- QCTO accreditation for specified electrical qualifications
- Proof of assessor accreditation from relevant SETA
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Public liability insurance (minimum R20 million) and Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance
- Valid COID Letter of Good Standing
- PSiRA registration for all security personnel
