Description

Iziko Museums is seeking a service provider to disassemble, relocate, and reassemble meeting pods at the Iziko South African Museum in Cape Town. The project involves moving two 4-seater pods and one 2-seater pod from the first and second floors to the fifth floor. The contractor must ensure all electrical, lighting, and ventilation systems are reconnected and fully functional. The work includes site preparation, safe transport of components, and final testing to ensure structural integrity. The successful bidder must provide a six-month workmanship guarantee and ensure the work area is left clean. The project must be completed by the specified deadline of 31 August 2026.
