The O. R. Tambo District Municipality in Mthatha is inviting professional town and regional planning consultants to join a panel for a 36-month contract. The selected consultants will assist the municipality with various land development and spatial planning tasks. Key deliverables include the development and review of Spatial Development Frameworks, Land Use Management Schemes, and Human Settlement strategies. The scope also covers township establishment processes, such as conducting topographical surveys, geotechnical evaluations, and environmental impact assessments. Additionally, the panel will support the municipality with urban design proposals and the creation of bylaws. This work will take place within the O. R. Tambo District.
