- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- VAT registration — A registered VAT vendor number with SARS.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Principals and key personnel must hold current ECSA registration
- Must maintain valid Professional Indemnity insurance cover
- Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Must possess valid Tax Clearance Certificate and TCS Pin
- Must provide company registration and VAT registration certificates
- At least 51% ownership must be held by registered professionals
- Must provide signed Joint Venture or Consortium agreement if applicable
