Description

The Department of Transport invites service providers to conduct forensic investigations into material irregularities regarding road project P242. The work will take place in Pietermaritzburg. The successful bidder must assess project execution, evaluate compliance with financial regulations, and identify any misconduct or negligence. Key deliverables include an inception report, bi-weekly progress updates, and a final investigation report suitable for legal or disciplinary proceedings. The project must be completed within 8 to 12 weeks from the appointment date. The service provider will also be required to provide post-investigation support, including attending hearings and submitting affidavits.

  • Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or certificate
  • Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance of at least R1,000,000
  • Minimum 10 years experience in forensic investigations or risk advisory
  • Key personnel must hold relevant professional registrations (ACFE, IIA, SAIGA, ECSA, SACPCMP, SACQSP, CIPA)
  • Proof of legal entity registration in South Africa
