- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Tax Compliance status
- Registered with Legal Practice Council and valid Fidelity Fund Certificate
- Valid Letter of Good Standing from Legal Practice Council
- Firm existence for five years; partner with ten years post-admission experience
- Minimum of two practicing attorneys and two qualified support staff
- Three proofs of evidence for each legal category applied for
- Joint ventures are prohibited
- Not listed on Register of Tender Defaulters or prior contract termination
