Description

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is seeking a service provider to manage and maintain its High-Performance Computing (HPC) system. The work involves supporting the Cray XC30 system, including hardware, storage, network, and software components. The project will take place over a 15-month period. Key deliverables include system administration, performance monitoring, hardware repairs, and disaster recovery support. The provider must meet strict response times for critical, high, and medium-priority incidents. A compulsory briefing session will be held via Microsoft Teams on 11 August 2026.
