Eskom invites tenders for an Enabling Agreement to establish a panel of twelve service providers for the inspection and treatment of wooden poles. The work will be performed on an as-and-when-required basis across the Central East Cluster, covering the Kwa-Zulu Natal and Free State Operating Units. The contract duration is three years. The scope includes intrusive maintenance inspections, supplemental chemical treatments, and pole labelling to prolong serviceability. Key deliverables include electronic inspection reports, audit reports for each line, and the maintenance of records for 12 years.
