Description

The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) invites consultants to design and develop a Just Transition Finance Mechanism. This project aims to create a framework to support community groups affected by the climate transition. The work includes creating governance structures, investment strategies, operational manuals, and environmental and social management plans. The project will be based in South Africa and must be completed within 18 months. Key deliverables include a diagnostic assessment, institutional architecture, and an implementation roadmap. Bidders must demonstrate expertise in blended finance, institutional development, and social safeguards. The project requires a team of specialists with advanced qualifications and significant industry experience.
