Description

The Independent Development Trust (IDT) invites Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) to participate in the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) Non-State Sector Programme. This project covers the 2026/2027 to 2028/2029 financial years. Successful NPOs will manage work opportunities in areas such as public facility cleaning, road maintenance, waste management, and food security. Each NPO will manage up to four sites, with each site requiring twenty-five participants. Key responsibilities include recruiting participants, managing attendance, processing monthly UIF payments, and submitting reports to the IDT. Bidders must demonstrate operational readiness, governance standards, and financial capability. The deadline for proposal submissions is 29 July 2026 at 12:00 PM.

  • UIF registrationRegistration with the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
  • Other registrationAn industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
