The National Research Foundation (NRF-SAASTA) invites service providers to improve security at the St Johns College Technology and Innovation Hub in Mthatha. The project involves removing existing burglar bars and window blinds, and supplying and installing new steel trellis gates and window reinforcements. Key deliverables include the installation of slam-lock and dead-lock trellis systems across the Physics Lab, ICT Lab, and main rooms. Work is scheduled to commence in September 2026. A compulsory site briefing is scheduled for 12 August 2026 at the project site in Mthatha. All work must be completed according to the specified dimensions and bronze-coloured finish requirements.
