The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is seeking a panel of qualified suppliers to provide electronic components, PCB assembly, testing, and cable harnessing services. The work will be performed on an as-and-when-required basis over a five-year period. Key deliverables include sourcing electronic components, PCB assembly and inspection, cable manufacturing, and connector overmolding. The project requires high-reliability standards for electronic products. While the work is based at the CSIR, preference is given to suppliers within a 100 km radius of the Stellenbosch Campus. Appointment to the panel does not guarantee specific volumes of work.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
