Description

The South African Local Government Association (SALGA) is seeking to appoint a panel of service providers to support municipalities and municipal entities with a Financial Sustainability Programme for a period of 36 months. The work will take place across South African municipalities. Key deliverables include the development of a digital financial modelling and scenario planning tool, conducting financial diagnostics, and providing capacity building for municipal officials and councillors. The project aims to improve revenue generation, enhance audit outcomes, and provide technical advice on municipal financial legislation. The contract involves an hourly rate structure for services. The closing date for submissions is 11 September 2026 at 11:00 am. Bidders must demonstrate expertise in municipal finance, capital markets, and credit assessment.   • Professional registration of key personnel with recognized industry bodies
