Description

The South African Local Government Association (SALGA) is seeking to appoint a panel of service providers to support the Municipal Revenue Management Support Programme (MRMSP). This project aims to assist municipalities and municipal entities in improving their revenue management over a 36-month period. Key areas of work include reducing revenue losses, managing indigent registers, enhancing revenue collection, improving billing systems, and providing capacity building for municipal officials. The work will take place across various municipalities in South Africa. Service providers are expected to deliver diagnostic assessments, revenue improvement plans, business cases, and performance monitoring dashboards. Bidders must demonstrate extensive experience in municipal finance, local government regulatory environments, and data analytics. The closing date for submissions is 11 September 2026 at 11:00 am. This is a panel appointment, and proposals exceeding R1,000,000,000 will not be considered.
