The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) invites bids for a research project to evaluate real-time occupational hygiene monitoring technologies in the South African mining industry. The successful service provider will review existing technologies, assess their performance in mining environments, and develop best-practice guidance for the sector. The project includes a stakeholder workshop in Gauteng and spans 21 months. Key deliverables include comprehensive research reports, a draft guidance document, and a final report. Bidders must demonstrate at least 5 years of research experience, with team members possessing 10 years of specialized experience in ventilation, occupational hygiene, and relevant engineering fields.
