Description

The Sarah Baartman District Municipality invites service providers to review the Makana Local Municipality Spatial Development Framework. The project requires the drafting of a new framework in line with national legislation, including integrated analysis, spatial proposals, and a capital expenditure program. Key deliverables include a reviewed framework, local level planning for urban nodes, and various technical reports and GIS files. The work will take place in the Makana municipal area, with project management based in Gqeberha. The contract duration is 18 months from the date of appointment. Bidders must demonstrate expertise in spatial planning and town planning schemes. The project requires a high level of technical reporting and public participation management.
