The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is seeking proposals for the research and development of infrared concealment materials. The project involves creating a human-scale military poncho designed to reduce visibility across various infrared and thermal spectrums. The successful bidder will be responsible for material selection, design, fabrication, and performance testing. This is a three-year engagement where pre-qualified suppliers will be invited to provide quotations on an as-needed basis. Applicants must possess an engineering degree with a master’s in Material Science or related fields, along with at least three years of experience in signature management.
