Description

The National Research Foundation (NRF) invites bids for the development of a digital platform for the PERKA project. This platform will serve as a living archive and networking space for emerging researchers. Key features include a searchable knowledge database, a peer-learning and mentorship environment with matchmaking tools, and a regional advocacy portal for tracking career pathways. The system must be mobile-friendly and functional in areas with poor internet connectivity. It must also integrate with existing NRF and University of Pretoria research management systems. Deliverables include the fully functional platform, administrative training, and user guides for moderation.

  • Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Valid Letter of Good Standing (COID Act)
  • Proven experience in software development
