Description

The Gauteng Management Agency (GMA) is seeking an Independent Socio-Economic Monitor (ISEM) for the Gautrain project. This is a five-year appointment to independently review, monitor, and verify the Concessionaire’s compliance with Socio-Economic Development (SED) obligations. The successful service provider will be responsible for auditing performance data, verifying local content and B-BBEE targets, conducting site visits, and producing quarterly reports. Key deliverables include an inception report, a verification plan, quarterly SED performance reports, and a final close-out report. The work will be performed in South Africa, with the monitor provided a workstation at the Concessionaire’s offices. The project requires a multidisciplinary team with expertise in finance, law, B-BBEE, and supply chain management.
