Description
The South African National Petroleum Company (SANPC) Refinery is seeking a service provider for the rental of diesel generators and temporary power supply equipment. The work will take place at 1 Refinery Road, Isipingo, Prospecton, Durban. The contract is for a period of 36 months and operates on a unit rates basis. Key deliverables include the supply, delivery, maintenance, and removal of equipment ranging from 5kVA to 1200kVA, as well as lighting plants, fuel bowsers, and electrical distribution boards. The service provider must adhere to strict response times, including a 1-hour call-out window for emergencies. Bidders must demonstrate at least 10 years of industry experience and provide five contactable references for similar heavy industry projects. The project requires a team lead with at least eight years of relevant experience. All equipment must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant SANS standards.
