Ithala Development Finance Corporation (IDFC) is seeking a service provider to supply 24-hour security guarding services for various properties in the Coastal North region of KwaZulu-Natal. The contract will run for a period of 36 months. The successful bidder must provide 35 security guards, two armed supervisors, and two patrol vehicles to manage access control, site patrols, and emergency reporting across multiple retail and industrial sites. Key deliverables include maintaining an active guarding tracking system, submitting monthly incident reports, and establishing a control room within 30 days of appointment. The project requires experienced personnel and strict adherence to security industry standards.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
