Description

Transnet Port Terminals invites tenders for the fabrication and installation of structural steel supports and walkway repairs at the Richards Bay Port Rail Terminal. This project involves structural work on various units, including K11, K14, and Tippler 01, as well as corrosion protection and painting. The work is a once-off project governed by an NEC3 contract. Key deliverables include a detailed methodology statement, structural drawings for approval, and the completion of all steelwork according to Transnet quality standards. The project includes a 52-week defects liability period. The work will take place at the Bulk Terminal in the Port of Richards Bay.   • Attendance at compulsory briefing session
  • Five coded welder performance qualification certificates
  • Five previous steel structural projects valued at minimum R450k each
  • Ability to undergo State Security Agency vetting
