Description

The uMngeni Local Municipality invites bids for the provision of internet connectivity, a VOIP telephone management system, and public Wi-Fi services. This project covers 250 users across various municipal sites, including offices, libraries, and community halls. The successful service provider will supply and maintain hardware such as routers, switches, and handsets on a rental basis for a 36-month period. Key deliverables include managed business-grade internet, failover links, and firewall services. The contract requires a 30-minute response time for technical issues. Bidders must have at least 10 years of experience in internet services and 5 years in VOIP systems. The project team leader must hold an ICT degree and a CCNA certification.
