Description

South African Airways Technical (SAAT) is requesting quotations for the dry lease of a conventional aircraft tug, such as a Schofer F396 or equivalent. The equipment must be capable of towing wide-body aircraft, including the A330, A340, B777, B747, A350, and A380. The lease period is for three months, with the tug operating at O.R. Tambo International Airport. The supplier is responsible for all preventative maintenance and repairs due to normal wear and tear. Additionally, the supplier must provide 24-hour technical support and ensure replacement equipment is available within 48 hours for major breakdowns. The tug must be diesel-powered and fully compliant with all Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) safety and airside operating regulations. Delivery is required at the O.R. Tambo International Airport airside. The closing date for this request is 12 October 2026 at 11:00 am.
