Description

Emakhazeni Local Municipality invites bids for a 36-month turnkey energy efficiency program. The project involves implementing energy performance contracts, retrofitting municipal buildings with solar PV and smart monitoring systems, and upgrading public lighting to LED technology. Key deliverables include establishing energy consumption baselines, developing business cases for 11 buildings, and obtaining council approval for shared savings contracts.   • Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

  • Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN
  • Proof of financial credit facility of at least R5 million
  • Relevant professional engineering and financial qualifications or registrations
  • ESCo Tier 1 or Tier 2 Certification
  • Valid OEM supply contracts and technology test results
  • Proof of municipal rates and taxes not in arrears
  • Documented project experience in energy efficiency or renewable energy
