The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) invites bids for the amalgamation of all DARD entities into the Agribusiness Development Agency. This project will take place in KwaZulu-Natal over a 24-month period. The service provider must manage the integration process, which includes developing a business case, designing organizational structures, conducting due diligence on assets and liabilities, and ensuring legal compliance. Key deliverables include an inception report, a formal Bill for integration, strategic plans, and the final operational transfer of assets and governance systems. The project requires a multi-disciplinary team of experts in finance, law, engineering, agriculture, and human resources to ensure a successful transition.
