Bidders must demonstrate experience by having completed at least three projects worth over R1.5 million each in the last three years. The work must be completed within the Eastern Cape province, and the contractor is expected to start within five working days of site possession.

- SACPCMP registration for the designated OHS Officer
- Commitment to subcontract at least 25% of work to local SMMEs
