Description

The Mossel Bay Municipality invites tenders for the management and operation of the Herbertsdale Waste Transfer Station and refuse collection services. The project covers Bartelsfontein, Buisplaas, Herbertsdale, and Kleinberg, serving approximately 500 households and various businesses. Key deliverables include the weekly collection of refuse, the supply of refuse bags to households, and the daily operation of the transfer station, including waste separation and transport to a registered landfill. The service provider must maintain the site, manage odour and rodent control, and use tracked vehicles for operations. The contract period is three years, starting 01 July 2027 and ending 30 June 2030. Bids must be submitted by 12:00 on 16 October 2026.
