The South African Local Government Association (SALGA) is seeking a service provider to create legacy publications for its 30-year anniversary. The project involves researching, writing, and designing two main items: a premium coffee table book focused on leadership and democratic milestones, and a four-volume institutional compendium covering governance and history. The work will take place across South Africa, involving archival research, interviews with former leaders, and the collection of historical photographs. Key deliverables include an inception report, a verified historical chronology, a leadership preview edition, and the final printed publications. The project is expected to run from late 2026 through early 2027. The service provider must have a team with at least five years of experience in archival research, editorial development, and high-quality publication design. All work must be completed and submitted by the final deadline in March 2027.
