SASSETA is seeking an experienced service provider to manage its end-to-end bursary process for students at public and private higher education institutions across South Africa. The project scope includes advertising bursaries, screening and interviewing applicants, conducting due diligence, managing learner contracts, and providing ongoing monitoring and career guidance. The service provider will also handle financial disbursements for registration, learning materials, and accommodation, while providing quarterly performance and financial reports. The contract will run from the date of appointment until 31 March 2030, with a potential five-year extension. The project is managed by SASSETA, and all queries must be submitted by 19 June 2026. The tender uses an 80/20 preference point system, and the successful bidder must demonstrate significant experience in large-scale bursary management.

- Three reference letters for bursary management, including one for R50 million-plus contract
- Team Leader must hold NQF level 7 in Project Management and 10 years experience
- Team Leader must have experience on three assignments, including one R50 million-plus contract
