Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is inviting tenders for the provision of Small Power User (SPU) disconnection and reconnection services in the North West Operating Unit (Gemma Cluster). The contract will run for a period of 36 months on an 'as and when required' basis. The scope of work includes identifying, disconnecting, and reconnecting meters, recording meter readings, taking digital photographs of meter status, and ensuring installations are left in a safe condition. Contractors must also report tampering, faulty network equipment, and access issues. The work involves operating in urban, rural, and deep rural areas. Successful bidders must provide daily activity reports and ensure all work complies with Eskom’s safety, quality, and environmental standards. The tender requires bidders to demonstrate technical competency, provide suitable vehicles, and ensure all staff are properly trained and authorized to perform low-voltage operations.

- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
