Eskom is seeking a contractor for electrical building maintenance services at the Mpumalanga Operating Unit, specifically for the Highveld, Emalahleni, Ermelo, and Mbombela zones. The work will be performed on an 'as and when required' basis for a 60-month period. Key tasks include distribution board maintenance, lighting repairs, earth leakage testing, infra-red scanning, and issuing Certificates of Compliance. The contractor must respond to standard calls within 24 hours and immediately for emergencies. The project is governed by an NEC3 Term Service Contract. Eskom does not guarantee a specific volume of work. The contractor must also develop the skills of five unemployed candidates as Electrical Artisans over the contract duration.

- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
