Description

The MICT SETA is seeking a service provider to supply and deliver a humanoid robot to be used for research and education regarding automation and 4IR principles. The robot must be a fully functional bipedal unit capable of dynamic balancing, fall recovery, and independent movement. Key technical requirements include a height of 1.2m to 1.5m, a minimum of 18 to 25 degrees of freedom, and compatibility with ROS/ROS2 software environments. The project includes a 12-month hardware warranty, technical support, and staff training. The equipment must be delivered to the MICT SETA Head Office located in Midrand, Gauteng.
