Description

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) invites proposals for a tailored Research Ethics Training Course. The project will run for five years on an as-needed basis. Work will be conducted online or at the CSIR Pretoria campus. The service provider must develop course materials and facilitate training for Research Ethics Committee members, research managers, and researchers. Key deliverables include interactive training sessions for various group sizes ranging from 12 to 50 delegates. The contract aims to ensure high-quality learning outcomes for CSIR staff over the five-year period.

Full requirements

  • Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Must possess valid Tax Compliance Status
  • NQF level 7 or higher in Biological, Medical, Environmental, Social Sciences, or Law
  • Professional certification in Bioethics or Ethics
  • Proven experience in research ethics training and facilitation
  • Current or previous membership in a Research Ethics Committee
  • Joint venture agreement and consolidated documentation if applicable
