Description

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) is seeking a service provider to supply, deliver, deploy, and support hardware solutions at their head office in Centurion. The project involves the procurement of four Dell PowerEdge MX760C blade servers, two Dell PowerEdge R450 rack servers, one Unity XT HFA storage upgrade, and VMware vSphere 8 licensing. The goal is to expand ICASA’s existing Dell infrastructure to increase computing and storage capacity. The successful bidder must also provide 36 months of ProSupport Plus and 4-hour Mission Critical support. The work includes full configuration according to Dell best practices and the issuance of a completion certificate upon project finalization. The tender follows an 80/20 preference point system and requires bidders to be authorized Dell partners with proven experience in server infrastructure deployment.
