The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is seeking a service provider for specialized traffic surveying services across the provincial road network. This project will run for a duration of three years. Key deliverables include conducting manual and electronic traffic counts, maintaining permanent traffic counting stations, and managing Weigh-in-Motion systems. The successful bidder will also be responsible for monitoring heavy vehicle overloading, managing the provincial traffic database, and providing technical support through qualified engineering staff. The work will take place throughout the Gauteng Province. Bidders must attend a compulsory site briefing on 17 June 2026 in Pretoria. The tender closes on 06 July 2026.
